FIRESTARTERS Shotgun and Rocket Launcher Achievement Conditions
Plan around Point Blank, Precise and Maverick: pellet hits, a long-range direct rocket kill, and a multi-kill while the player is airborne.
What does Point Blank actually require?
Land every pellet from one Shotgun blast on a single enemy, according to the official achievement list. The listed requirement is about complete pellet contact, not merely firing close to a target. The description does not state that the shot must kill, and it does not give a pellet count.
When practising, separate the question of aiming from the question of damage. A kill alone does not demonstrate that every pellet connected. This site has not verified the spread pattern, a reliable distance, or an enemy type that guarantees the achievement.
How do Precise and Maverick differ?
Precise combines three conditions: use the Rocket Launcher, score a killing direct hit, and do so from at least 50 meters away. Maverick instead asks for at least two enemies killed by a single rocket while the player is airborne. Distance is not included in Maverick’s published description.
| Achievement | Important distinction |
|---|---|
| Precise | A direct-hit kill, with the 50-meter minimum |
| Maverick | Multiple kills from one rocket, while you are airborne |
For Precise, do not assume nearby explosion damage is interchangeable with a direct hit. For Maverick, the airborne condition refers to you, not to the enemies. The separate Pull! achievement covers killing an enemy that has been launched into the air.
How should you prepare a focused attempt?
Pick one objective and remove unnecessary variables. For Point Blank, concentrate on keeping the blast on one target. For Precise, establish the distance condition rather than estimating it from how small the enemy looks. For Maverick, plan for one rocket and multiple targets while meeting the airborne condition yourself.
Those are condition-based suggestions, not a tested farming route. Exact blast radius, self-damage rules, optimal enemy health, and useful arena positions remain unverified here.
The Railgun tasks provide a useful comparison between a long-range hit and kills from one shot. The Mining Laser conditions distinguish direct and fire damage. Use the complete achievement reference for the full set of weapon goals.
Official conditions checked November 2, 2026. No weapon statistics, arena measurements, or personal gameplay results are claimed.
